United Cup España FEB 2026 Set for Barcelona

Trinity United, LLC and FEB Clubs Unite Basketball and Social Impact

CB Boet Basketball and Trinity United, LLC will once again shine a spotlight on Mataró basketball, unity, and community impact with the 2026 United Cup España FEB, taking place August 26 – September 3 in Barcelona. The preseason competition will feature clubs from FEB Tercera alongside American teams, continuing a growing tradition of international collaboration and social responsibility through sport.

The United Cup España FEB serves as a key preseason moment for CB Boet and Trinity United, LLC, Mataró Basketball’s social responsibility initiative. The tournament brings together clubs, players, fans, and communities from Barcelona and the United States, reinforcing a shared commitment to using basketball as a tool for positive social change. It also provides Spanish clubs an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming FEB season while offering American players a platform to be scouted against high-level Spanish competition.

The theme for the 2026 edition, “Where Worlds Collide,” reflects the core value at the heart of the CB Boet program: teamwork. Throughout the tournament, U.S. participants develop skills rooted in collaboration, respect, and belonging. That same spirit extends beyond the court, uniting fans, clubs, communities, and players through a shared passion for basketball and for life. As part of the event, U.S. players will also host a basketball camp for CB Boet youth ages U8–U15, reinforcing the tournament’s commitment to youth development.

“We are very happy to celebrate the United Cup España FEB for another season,” said Alberto Peña, Chief Manager of CB Boet Basketball. “It is a great opportunity to showcase the impactful work we do hand in hand with our clubs, continue growing the game of basketball in Mataró, and invite everyone to join us in the celebrations. We would like to thank Jermaine Barnes of Trinity United, LLC, as well as the coaches, players, and partners for their tremendous efforts and solidarity throughout the year.”

The United Cup España FEB, formerly known as the Liga Mediterranean Cup, was founded in 2017 by Jermaine Barnes and Albert Peña. Originally created to help Spanish clubs prepare for the FEB season and provide U.S. players exposure to European competition, the event has grown into a meaningful platform for cultural exchange and youth engagement, highlighted by basketball camps and community programming across Barcelona and Mataró.

“It has been a great honor to partner with CB Boet and Albert Peña,” said Jermaine Barnes, CEO of Trinity United, LLC. “What started as a tool to help American players get signed has become much more. Albert and I care deeply about the kids and the future, so blending competition with child development is something we truly enjoy.”

The United Cup España FEB continues to unite FEB and U.S. clubs under one shared purpose, demonstrating that the power of a team extends far beyond the final score.

When everyone plays their part, something stronger is created — on the court and beyond.

All games will be covered by Mataró TV, which has broadcast the tournament for the past four seasons, including game action and post-game interviews throughout the week of competition.
