United Cup 2k26: Results and Stats from Round 3 of Regular Season

The Day Three in United Cup just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of the last round was a loss of American club Clermont Crocs on last night. Hosts were edged by 61-59. The game came down to a final shot by Dominican forward Isaac Joseph) with 1 second on the clock! Worth to mention a solid performance of American guard Jason Benhardus) who recording 15 points and 4 assists. But it wasn't enough to hold off the Sharks of Sosua. Joseph posted a game high 18 points and 9 rebounds!!

The game of the tournament was the two unbeaten teams of Georgia Panthers (2-0) and Correcaminos (2-0) of Puerto Plata. Panthers continued their dominance with an 80-61 win. Dominican forward Moises Peralta (193-F-1995) stepped up with 25 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists! Clarence Tillman (196-SF-1990, college: N.Georgia) dominated the 3rd with 12 points of his 20 total points. Geoff Harner (185-G-1983) sparked the Panthers in the first half with some sharp shooting. He finished the game with 9 points on (3-6 3PTFG) shooting. Worth mentioning was the strong inside play of Keenan Gaskin (201-F/C-1990, college: York, NY) . He dominated the defensive end posting 12 rebounds and 10 points in the win. Yunior Martinez (180-PG-2002) was the bright spot for the Puerto Plata club with 20 points in a losing effort. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panthers are now in the driver's seat for their first United Cup title.

The final game came between the US Titans and the Mellizos. The Dominican squad closed the Titans out 70-59. Jose Rodriguez was the top players with 17 points in the win! Brandon McElvy (177-PG-1994) again had 13 points in the loss. Veteran Sergey Vasylenko (208-F/C-1980) (Young) posted 10 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.
