Peak Basket - CBSN Girona 95-65

Peak Basket opened the United Cup España with a convincing 95-65 victory over CB Sant Narcis. Peak led from start to finish and controlled the game on the glass, outrebounding Sant Narcis 60-44. Four Peak Basket players collected at least seven rebounds, while four players also handed out five or more assists.

Jermaine Barnes led the winners with an impressive all-around performance of 26 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists in only 28 minutes. Stephan Moore added 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, including four three-pointers. Jay Jarrett contributed 15 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Mitchell Tabet did a good job running the offense, finishing with 9 points and 7 assists while committing only one turnover.

Axel Poch was the top performer for CB Sant Narcis with 16 points and 5 rebounds. He connected on four three-pointers in the loss.

LAU - Georgia Spartans 94-71

C.E. Sant Nicolau Sabadell (LAU) defeated Georgia Spartans 94-71 in the second game. The Spartans started well and held a 23-19 advantage after the opening quarter. LAU responded after the first period, took control of the game and did not allow Georgia to regain the lead.

Pere Sendra led LAU with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Nil Deix came close to a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds while connecting on three three-pointers. Max Bueno added 10 points and 6 assists for the winners.

Clarence Tillman was the top scorer for Georgia Spartans with 14 points.
