Turks & Caicos tab MaJic Dorsey for 2021 United Cup, ex Piratas

HAB Caicos Sonics (P.A.B.A.) inked American point guard MaJic Dorsey (185cm-81, college: S.Indiana). He played last summer at Piratas in Colombian LPB league. The last season Dorsey played at FAR Rabat (D1) in Moroccan league.

Dorsey is the record holder in the Mexican LNBP League for scoring. In 2012-13 he averaged a league record 30.5ppg (9.7apg ranked #1). He was later named LatinBasket.com All-LNBP Player of the Year. 

In 2006 (a year after he left the college) Anaheim Arsenal selected him as 10th overall pick in NBA G-League draft. The former University of Southern Indiana (NCAA Div.II) standout He graduated his college in 2005 andis in his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

Dorsey is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Dorsey has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Apollon), Germany (SG Bergishe Loewen), Iraq (Duhok), Mexico (Halcones UV Xalapa), Qatar (Al Wakrah), Saudi Arabia, Venezuela (Guaros), Morocco (FUS Rabat) and Egypt (Al Gezira).

Among many awards Dorsey's team won Mediterranean Cup in 2019. He received also Afrobasket.com All-Egyptian Superleague Player of the Year award back in 2015.
