The most important game of round 2 took place in where Immortals crushed Fenix101-54 on Wednesday night. Immortals dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fenix's 26. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Immortals made 7 blocks. American swingman Jensen Caretti (187-1997, college: Ohio St.) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Jennifer Pena (175-1993, college: Missouri S&T) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Immortals' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Dariana Santos (180-1991, college: Wiley) responded with 19 points. Fenix will play next round against strong Boom trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Immortals will try to continue on its current victory against Indias at home.
In the last game of round 2 winless Indias lost to Boom on the opponent's court 76-80.

Boom used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 80-76 on Wednesday night. American guard Karma Jeremie (173-1996, college: Tampa) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Annalise Burnette chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Boom players scored in double figures. American guard Sydni Tears (183, college: Talladega) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Juladyy Zapata (165-1993) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Boom is looking forward to face Fenix in Santiago in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
