Santiago Basket return reigning 2020 United Cup MVP Ameth Gil

Santiago Basket Titanes Dorado (United Cup) added to their roster 33-year old swingman Ameth Gil (191cm) for the 2021 United Cup. It is actually his comeback to Santiago as he has played here before. For the 2020 season Gil was named LatinBasket.com All-United Cup Finals MVP. He averaged a league ranked 18.3ppg. Gil moved there from Pueblo Nuevo in the Santiago League where he played this season. In 18 games he had 6.9ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.8spg (in top 4). Gil helped them to win the Santiago League title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. And also helped Santiago Basket to the 2020 United Cup Championship in Santiago.

Gil played also at Metros de Santiago.
