Panteras de Mexicali sign Holt for 2022 United Cup

Panteras de Mexicali (LNBPF) landed 29-year old American 165cm guard Tessah Holt (college: Boston) for the 2022 United Cup of Champions. The United Cup will be hosted in Santiago, Dominican Republic for the 2022 season.

"We are very excited to have Tessah for this event", said president Ricardo Perez. We trust our coaches in scouting and hope she can be another floor general. The event is very competitive so we need playmakers.

The Pantheras are very close to landing National Team guard Hazel Ramirez. This would form a great back court with Holt and Nationalized forward Viviana Vasquez.

"Hazel is a national team guard we need', said Perez. It is very important to have a good balance of leadership handling the ball. This is the very reason we signed Viviana and Tessah.

Holt graduated from Fayette County High School where she led her team to a 31-1 record. She would be a state champion and named Georgia High School Player of the Year. The McDonald's All-American Nominee would sign with the University of Florida before transferring to Boston College to finish her college career. In 2014 she would join West Florida where she averaged a league best 2.9 steal per game. Holt was named Gulf South Conference Player of the Year after winning the conference title.
