MCC2019: SG Bergishe Loewen add Steffon Bradford for the 2019 Liga Mediterranean Cup

SG Bergishe Loewen (Germany) added to their roster experienced 39-year old American power forward Steffon Bradford. He played last season at Vendee Challans Basket in French NM1 league. In 30 games he recorded 12.6ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.7apg. Bradford also played in the 2019 Copa Mitchell Cup in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He helped the Tonga National Team win the event where he was named LatinBasket.com All-Copa Mitchell Cup MVP. He would average an event best 23 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists.

The previous (16-17) season Bradford played at Saint Vallier (also in NM1) where in 34 games he was second best scorer with impressive 17.5ppg and had 5.4rpg and 2.0apg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).

Bradford was drafted by Omaha Cutterz (UBA) in first round (1st overall) this past winter.

The former University of Nebraska staris in his 18th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

He won Israeli National League championship title in 2011.

Bradford is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland, Italy, Poland (AZS Koszalin), Portugal (Barreirense), France (JDA Dijon, Aix Maurienne, JSF Nanterre and Lille Metropole), USBL (St.Louis S.) and Israel (Hapoel Afula).

On Bradford: Extremely physical player who is a strong offensive post player.
