Atlanta outscored Sheffield Bulldogs to receive their first win in Toulouse. Ashley Asouzu (183-F, college: Columbus St.) posted 18 points to lead the winners. Atlanta jumped to a 20:14 lead after the opening frame. Sheffield narrowed the deficit in the next periods. They got within striking distance late in the third but could not overcome the hurdle as the Americans opened the game up securing the win. Jasmine Carter (170-PG, college: Georgia) netted 16 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in the victory. Kayla Gabor (180-G/F, college: Lake Erie) tossed in 21 points for the Bulldogs in a losing effort.

MCC Toronto Basket - MSP RheinStars Bergische LOWEN 63-82
MSP RheinStars Bergische LOWEN move to 2-0 in Toulouse. They stormed past MCC Toronto Basket in Group A 82-63. Kristina King (180-G-92, college: Richmond) continues her all around play with a game high 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Germany established a 50:22 rebounding lead. The balance attack continued as the Lowen move one step closer to the gold. Asia Logan (184-F-92, college: Pittsburgh) and Sequoia Holmes (183-F/G-86, college: UNLV) continued to register double-double (s). Logan finished with 18 points (+10 rebounds) while Holmes finished with 15 points (+10 rebounds). Katrina Salinas (165-G)esponded with 18 points for Toronto.

Group B
Flint Monarchs - Toulouse 88-63
Flint continue their dominate play as they roll pass in Group B. Asia Boyd (185-F-92, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) tossed in 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to lead the effort. Flint secured a 24:19 lead at the first break. They went on a 24:11 run in the third term to clear off for good. Arlesia Morse (178-G-93, college: Marquette, agency: AgainHello) netted 19 points for the winners. Lucie Carlier (187-F-90) notched 13 points for Toulouse.
