Narahino Chiba Seals (United League) inked experienced 36-year old American ex-international forward Marquin Chandler (202-100kg-82, college: SJSU). He played recently at GIE Maile Matrix (UBA) in the U.S.

Among many awards Chandler's team won Mitchell Americas Cup for two years in a row (2018 and 2019). He received also Latinbasket.com All-Mitchell Americas Cup Player of the Year award in 2018. Chandler was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2015.

He is a very experienced player. Chandler has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Chandler has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Korea (Anyang KGC), Latvia, Philippines, Portugal (Benfica), Puerto Rico, Singapore, IBL (Tri City B.), Japan (Chiba Jets) and Tonga (Tonga NT).

The summer of 2013 Chandler signed a non guarantee contract with the New York Knicks.

Chandler attended San Jose State University until 2005 and it is his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

His game is described as:  A natural wing who played 4/5 in High School, adding some inside skills. Can spend time in the point forward position, bringing up the ball most of the time. Can also hit the three point shot with great accuracy, especially when you need it. Dribbles very well in open court.
