Flint Lady Monarchs signed 26-year old guard Sparkle Taylor (5'10''-1995, college: UTEP) for the 2022 United Cup of Champions (Dominican Republic). It is actually her comeback to Lady Monarchs as she has played here before. Taylor played last summer at Chicago Sky (WNBA). In two games she had 5.5ppg and 1.0rpg. The last season she played at CS Municipal Satu Mare in Romanian Liga Nationala where in 29 games she was league's second best scorer with impressive 24.3ppg and averaged 7.1rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals.

Taylor could be described: Sparkle is a 178cm very good mid-range shooter, she creates for her teammate, plays hard on both ends, creates her own shot, attacks the basket strong, great help defender, shoot of the bounce, affective off picks and rolls and controls the tempo. She can score with multiple ways and is a great rebounder for her position. On her strong points her quickness is her main characteristic.
