Five time United Cup champion announce return. WE ARE BACK!!
Puerto Plata, RD is set to host the 2025 United Cup of Champions from 6-12 January. This 10th edition of the United Cup features 6 men’s teams that will compete for the top of the podium over the following three days.
Bringing in the New Year, five-time UC champion GIE Cibao Immortals, from Santiago, return with three players from last year’s winning team – Paul Harrison, Ben Njie, and Ameth Gil. 2024 gold medalists, CDF from Puerto Plata, also bring back an experienced team with Clermont Crocs, Austin Greeners (Texas), and Club Padre Granero joining newcomer Club Cabra. These two powers will be in Pools A and B, respectively.
The Immortals just captured their first LDC Superior League title along with their 4th Regular Season Championship.
"After a busy travel schedule, I felt it wasn't necessary for GIE to be in the 2025 United Cup", said HC Jermaine Barnes. Alot of the fans in Puerto Plata expressed their request for the Immortals. It was an overwhelming respect, so we decided as a group to join. THE BLOODLINE IS BACK!

The Immortals seem focused and about winning after signing international standout Paul Harrison. Harrison just finished the NCAA tour with the Immortals. He averaged a team best 25.0 points per game while pulling down 10.0 rebounds!!
