Equipo Femenino La Vega lands Marlene Caceres for 2021 United Cup

Equipo Femenino La Vega (United Cup) tabbed 31-year old power forward Marlene Caceres (179cm) for new season. She played recently at Olimpicas in LNBF in Dominican Republic. In 10 games she averaged an impressive 14.0ppg and 9.8rpg. Caceres missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.

Caceres represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) seven years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 5 games: 2.8ppg, 1.6rpg. She has been apart of the Dominican Republic National Team from 2009-2020.

Caceres is a very experienced player.
