GIE Maile Matrix outgunned Chiba to record the second win in Group A. Matrix posted a 39:28 halftime lead. They went on a 25:17 rally in the third period to clear off for good. Steffon Bradford (198-F/C-78, college: Nebraska) delivered a monster game with 30 points and 20 rebounds !!! Jermaine Barnes (193-G/F-83, college: Point, GA) registered the events first triple double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for the American team. P.J. Reason (193-F, college: Co.Georgia) answered with 22 points for Chiba.

CDP - Santiago Basket 97-101
Santiago Basket outgunned CDP to improve at 3-0 record in Group B. The Dominican team grabbed a 20:9 lead after ten minutes. They followed with a strong 37:25 second half run to rally to the victory. Greg Helt (196-F-95) netted 33 points, while Ameth Gil (191-G/F-88)l added 23 points in the win. Juan Coronado replied with 17 points for CDP.

Plaza - Fenix 113-112
Plaza edge past Fenix to celebrate the first win in Group A. Plaza posted a 22:15 lead after ten minutes. But Salta Basket responded with a massive 51:21 second half rally to secure a victory. Oliver Garcia (188-G-96) posted 23 points for the winners. Jose Americo Delgado (193-SG-90) added 20.
