The United Cup Board of Directors have confirmed the event date (s) for the 2021 United Cup of Champions. The tournament will be held from July 15th - July 18th, 2021 in La Vega, Dominican Republic, marking the first time the international cup will play in La Vega Top League.

La Vega is one of the more competitive leagues on the island. Representing the local team (s) will be La Vega and Santiago. Toronto Basket (Canada) will make their Latin American debut after making a mark in Germany and France. Their first order of business was resigning local guard Faatimah Amen-Ra (163-G-91, college: MCC Toronto). Last season Amen Ra averaged an event best 21.0ppg in the Copa Mitchell (Germany).
